Ceramic artist Julie Deault has explored various craftsmanships before discovering her true passion: From working with weaving and textile design in Montréal to studying silversmithing in the mountains of Mexico.

Situated in Toronto, Canada, Deault works with raw clay material. From her tiny studio, she hand-builds sculptural pieces with coiling and pinching techniques — a slow process that contributes to unique irregularities that make each piece one of a kind.
