Kinfolk

High quality Giclée print on 265 g fine art paper created by Salva López for the Kinfolk Print Collection made in exclusive collaboration with ALIUM. Open edition.

Giclée is a fine art printing process combining long lasting archival inks with high quality art paper achieving prints of superior quality, light fastness and deep vibrant colors.

Barcelona-based photographer Salva López’s shots of a local architectural landmark—the residence of celebrated Catalan sculptor Xavier Corberó—appeared in Kinfolk’s Fall 2018 issue. A labyrinth of interconnected homes in Moorish modern style, Corberó’s estate juxtaposes silhouetted husks of Arabesque curves with monastic, whitewashed walls and a collection of contemporary furniture.

Lopez’s series offers a window into its eccentricity and recalls the surrealist painters that Corberó himself befriended—Salvador Dalí and Marcel Duchamp among them.

The art print is carefully packed and shipped in a protective tube.

Frame not included.
